#BeScamWISE: Empowering Youths Against Digital Threats
Scams are getting smarter, and young Singaporeans are at risk.
✓ 1 in 2 youths (18-34) have been scammed.
✓ 84% think they can spot scams, but only 40% get it right.
✓ 98% of teens believe they can detect scams—despite little real-world exposure.
False confidence and increasing digital reliance make youths prime targets. Scam awareness isn’t enough—real detection skills are essential.
